Erdogan on Meeting with Putin: 'In Three to Four Days'
In the upcoming "three to four days," I expect a face-to-face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This announcement was made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“Today is Mr. Putin’s birthday. I wanted to congratulate him, and he, in turn, thanked us for our mediation regarding the Ukrainian crisis. Additionally, it would be good if we could hold a meeting about our bilateral relations in the next three to four days. If Mr. Putin is also able to come to the Asian negotiations, we will be able to conduct bilateral talks, as well as discussions on the Russia-Ukraine issue,” Erdogan told reporters.
It is noteworthy that the presidents of Turkey and Russia had a phone conversation today, discussing bilateral relations and the situation in Ukraine.
