Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Accuses Paris of Favoring Armenians
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has accused Paris of having a pro-Armenian stance.
The response from Baku was triggered by remarks made by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, who expressed solidarity with the Armenian people.
Press Secretary Leyla Abdullayeva emphasized that the minister did not call for an investigation into the crimes committed by the Armenian side. The Baku representative seemingly forgot that it is their soldiers who are committing war crimes, performing surgeries on Armenian prisoners of war without anesthesia and subjecting them to torture.
“The reason is clear to us, but it would be better if officials of a country wishing to mediate in the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia spoke from neutral, impartial, and fair positions,” she highlighted.
