The West Will Not Manage to Shift Energy Crisis Responsibility onto Russia and Iran, Says Iranian Deputy Minister
The West will not succeed in shifting the responsibility for its energy crisis onto Russia and Iran. This was reported by РИА Новости, citing Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Ahmad Asadzadeh.
“The OPEC+ meeting is underway, where a decision will be made. I want to say that countries in Europe and America cannot shift their oil sector requirements and the oil and gas crisis onto us,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that OPEC, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, has advised member countries to sharply cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day, which could lead to rising prices in the global oil market. The White House has described the organization’s decision as a “disaster” and an unfriendly move.
