When Will the Pashinian - Erdogan Meeting Take Place? ‘Hraparak’
According to the newspaper ‘Hraparak’, the EU's unofficial summit will be held in Prague on October 6-7, to which both the leaders of Armenia and Turkey have been invited.
Recently, Turkish President Erdogan announced that he is ready to meet with Nikol Pashinian during the EU summit planned in Prague. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not excluded such a possibility either, stating recently, “A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the event in Prague cannot be ruled out. However, at this time, such a meeting is not confirmed.”
The government is not in a hurry to provide official information regarding whether Pashinian will travel to Prague and if such a meeting is expected. Meanwhile, our sources in the executive branch have indicated that there is an intention for this meeting, and if no unforeseen circumstances arise, the Pashinian-Erdogan meeting will become a reality.
