Putin and Pashinyan Hold Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed
The phone conversation was initiated by the Armenian side, during which Vladimir Putin spoke with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as reported by the official website of the Kremlin.
The leaders of the two countries continued to discuss the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh.
“The importance of the consistent implementation of the trilateral agreements of November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021, by the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan was reaffirmed. The role of the Russian peacekeeping forces in ensuring stability in the region was also emphasized,” the statement said.
During the phone call, Pashinyan and Putin also addressed several current topics regarding the further development of strategic partnership and allied relations between Russia and Armenia.
