Metro Service Resumes Normal Operations: Spokesperson Provides Details
As of 09:30, metro services have resumed normal operations. This announcement was made by the Metro's press secretary, Tatev Khachatryan, on her Facebook page.
According to the announcement, "As a result of negotiations between the metro management and the drivers who did not go on duty, normal operations of the metro have been restored since 09:30. We ask for the passengers' understanding."
Earlier, it was reported that the doors of all stations of the Yerevan Metro named after Karen Demirchyan were closed since the morning. The drivers had started a strike at 06:00, demanding a salary increase. The management of the metro had begun negotiations with the drivers.
