Pensions to Increase by Up to 6,000 Drams, Says Minister
In Armenia, pensions, benefits, and the minimum wage are set to increase next year. According to Armenpress, this was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, during a press briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.
"We plan to increase pensions and benefits in 2023. The Prime Minister has also announced an increase in the minimum wage during a cabinet meeting," said Mkrtchyan.
According to the minister, they are currently discussing the 2023 budget in an operational framework. "A pension increase of up to 6,000 drams is planned in two phases," the minister added, noting that other measures are also being discussed within the ministry.
