Work Continues at the Armenian-Turkish Border
While residents of Kars wait for the opening of the "Doughukapi" border crossing, demining operations have begun at the Armenia-Turkey border, as reported by the Turkish news site "GazeteKars." According to the source, an Israeli company is carrying out demining work in the Armenian-Turkish border zone. It is noted that demining activities have been underway for 20 days in the area of the Ibish village in the Akyaka district of Kars.
"The agenda includes the opening of the "Doughukapi" crossing, which has both road and railway access, as well as the "Alijian" crossing, which only has a road connection," writes "GazeteKars." Additionally, it is mentioned that there is currently no official information on the matter from official sources.
