Urgent: Explosion at Unibank in Ashtarak City, Several Injured

An emergency incident occurred a short while ago in the Aragatsotn region. Around 08:30, an explosion was reported at the Unibank in Ashtarak City.

According to information from shamshyan.com at the scene, five individuals with varying degrees of bodily injuries have been transferred to Ashtarak Hospital. The doctors at Ashtarak Hospital acted promptly, providing first aid to the victims on the spot before their hospital transfer.

Two firefighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Ashtarak Rescue Service arrived quickly. The head of the Aragatsotn regional police department and the chief of the Ashtarak police department are also on-site. The police have cordoned off the area. Currently, rescue teams are working at the scene, awaiting the arrival of forensic experts and investigators from the Aragatsotn regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
