Tragic Incident in Gegharkunik Region: Father Discovers 15-Year-Old Son's Hanging Body in Barn

On June 28, a tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 21:30, a resident of one of the villages in the Martuni area reported to the Martuni police station that he had discovered his son's body hanging from a rope in a barn located on the outskirts of the village.

According to Shamshyan.com, police investigators found the body of 15-year-old Sh. B. in the barn. A preliminary examination by a forensic expert revealed no signs of violence on the body; however, under the direction of the investigator leading the scene, several examinations have been commissioned, including a forensic examination of the body.

As per reports from G. Shamshyan, the police and the investigative department are working on several hypotheses, including that of suicide. The deceased child was the youngest son in the family.
