Figure Skater Tina Karapetyan Retires

Member of the Armenian figure skating team and Olympic Games participant Tina Karapetyan has announced her retirement.

According to Armenpress, Karapetyan shared this news on her social media pages. “After 20 years in sports, I have made the decision to end my career. The ice has been my home for as long as I can remember. Figure skating has offered me many opportunities, and I have had the honor to represent Armenia and be an Olympic athlete,” wrote Karapetyan.

The Tina Karapetyan-Simon Senecal pair represented Armenia at the Beijing Winter Games.
