The Civil Contract Has Four Hours to Get Its Act Together: Ishkhan Saghatelyan
A session of the National Assembly, convened at our request, took place a short while ago, and as anticipated, the "Civil Contract" faction disrupted the session by not participating. This was stated by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and member of the "Armenia" faction, at France Square.
“A week ago, we outlined the minimal demands necessary for Artsakh to remain Armenian, for Armenia to be secure, and for us to maintain statehood. The ruling "Civil Contract" party refused to discuss issues of vital importance to the country. Our deputies are in the National Assembly; the session will remain open for another 4 hours, giving them 4 hours to come to their senses and come to Parliament,” he said. Saghatelyan noted that opposition deputies present in Parliament are coming to France Square.
