The Russian President congratulated the Armenian Prime Minister on his birthday and sent his best wishes. Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the Russian President for the phone call on the occasion of his birthday, emphasizing that he highly appreciates the warm and friendly attitude of the Russian President.
The interlocutors also discussed several issues on the Armenia-Russia bilateral agenda, touching upon regional problems and the Armenian-Azerbaijani border situation. The Russian President welcomed the first meeting of the commission on the demarcation and security of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to assist in the border demarcation process. It was highlighted that, in accordance with the agreement, the next session of the commission will take place in Moscow.
