VIDEO. How Young People in Yerevan Attempted to Rob a Terminal

A surveillance camera on Shinaraner Street in the capital recorded two men trying to commit theft on the night of May 27. Their target was a payment terminal, which one of the individuals was attempting to open with a tool.

Meanwhile, police officers from the Mashtots division were conducting another night patrol for crime prevention, and they did not overlook the incident. They stopped the vehicle and initiated a chase.

As a result, a 32-year-old man from Yerevan was detained on suspicion of theft, while his accomplice managed to escape. It was revealed that they had used technical means to open the terminal's door, but they did not complete their attempt.

A criminal case has been initiated based on the attempted theft. The 32-year-old man has been arrested. Measures are being taken to locate the person who fled.

The circumstances are being clarified, and night patrols continue.
