Turkish 'Madame Coco' Completely Exits Russia, Closing 29 Stores

The Turkish home goods and textile brand 'Madame Coco' is entirely ceasing its operations in the Russian Federation. This information was reported by Natalia Kermedchieva, an expert from the Association of Electronic Commerce Market Participants.

According to the expert, the company entered the Russian market in February 2023 and established stores in major shopping centers in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Grozny, and other cities over the course of two years. In early 2025, the brand had announced plans for further expansion.

Kermedchieva emphasized that this is not merely the closure of individual sales points or a temporary halt in operations, but rather the complete withdrawal of the company from the Russian market. 'Madame Coco' had 29 operational stores in Russia.

The main reasons for the cessation of activities include a decline in customer traffic and demand, high rental costs, and the inability to compensate for decreasing sales, which likely pushed the company to the brink of bankruptcy.
