Only After 30 Minutes of Negotiation Were Journalists Allowed to Enter the National Assembly Room 334
The joint session of the National Assembly committees began without the presence of journalists, where the execution of the 2021 state budget is being discussed. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has also been invited to attend. According to Factor.am, journalists were not allowed to enter room 334 at the start of the session.
The media outlet reports that the ruling party members of the National Assembly, the staff, and the police did not provide any justification for denying journalists access. It was noted that only after negotiations, approximately 30 minutes late, were journalists permitted to enter the committee meeting room.
