Kazakhstan's Parliament Ratifies Agreement on Oil Product Supply with Armenia
Kazakhstan's upper chamber of Parliament, the Senate, has ratified the intergovernmental agreement on trade and economic cooperation in the field of oil product supply with Armenia. This agreement was signed in Nur-Sultan in July 2020. This was reported by 1Lurer.am.
According to the agreement, it is envisaged that the export duties on goods supplied to Armenia from Kazakhstan for internal consumption will be canceled, as per indicative balances, along with an embargo on the supply of goods not specified in the list and not foreseen by the indicative balances. Furthermore, goods supplied from Kazakhstan to Armenia are not subject to export duties from the EAEU and third countries.
The agreement will be submitted for the signature of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
