Aliyev Reiterates Discussion on the 'Zangezur Corridor' with Erdogan
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, during a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated that the parties have agreed on the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' during negotiations in Brussels.
According to Azerbaijani media reports, Aliyev informed his Turkish counterpart about the results of the meeting in Brussels and characterized them positively.
“Aliyev emphasized that the parties have reached an agreement on the opening of the Zangezur Corridor, including on the construction of both railway and automobile roads,” the statement reads.
