Italian Ambassador to Armenia Hospitalized After Car Accident in Yerevan

On May 18, the Italian Ambassador to Armenia, Alfonzo Rizzone, was transported to the Nairi Medical Center following a car accident.

According to shamshyan.com, at around 4:00 PM, a collision occurred between a Mercedes, driven by Yerevan resident Arman S., and an Audi, driven by Armen G., at the crossroads of Beirut and Grigor Lusavorich streets. As a result of the accident, passenger A. Rizzone from the Audi was taken to the Nairi Medical Center.

Reports indicate that the Audi was bearing diplomatic license plates.
