A video of Garik Galayan, the father of Mikitar Galayan who died during the Artsakh 44-day war, is actively circulating online. The man, in an attempt to portray the emotional state of bereaved parents of fallen soldiers, uses profanity and issues threats. It is unclear when the video was recorded, but it gained traction when parents of the fallen soldiers demanded the release of Garik Galayan from detention.

It should be noted that the Investigative Committee reported that Mikitar Galayan’s father entered a military unit and committed acts of violence against a colonel.

It was later revealed that Garik Galayan had been transferred to the "Astghik" medical center. "Five stents have been placed, and he is now being transferred to the hospital," said lawyer Vahan Avanessian.
