Ukraine Will Never Recognize Crimea as Part of Russia, Zelensky Says
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he is ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing that the parties "must find an agreement" without presenting ultimatums.
In an interview with Italian state television RAI, Zelensky also declared that Ukraine will never recognize Crimea as part of Russia. "Crimea has always had autonomy, it has always had its own parliament, but as part of Ukraine," Zelensky remarked.
The Ukrainian leader simultaneously discussed the prospects for relations with Russia.
