Tragic Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: 56-Year-Old Driver Crashes into Service Station Wall
On May 12, a tragic car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 2:00 AM, a 56-year-old resident of Gegharkunik, identified as Robert M., lost control of his VAZ 2107 vehicle on Charents Street in Vardenis and crashed into the wall of a service station.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, Robert M. died on the spot, while his passenger, 56-year-old Frida P., also a resident of Gegharkunik, sustained injuries and was taken to the Vardenis Medical Center.
Rescue teams extracted the driver from the vehicle, but the doctors at the Vardenis Medical Center pronounced him dead.
