Special Operation in Ukraine Helps Free the World from Western Influence, Lavrov
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated in an interview with the Xinhua news agency that the special military operation in Ukraine is contributing to the world's liberation from Western neo-colonial pressure. This was reported by RT.
Lavrov drew attention to the fact that Western countries are trying to suppress states pursuing an independent course in both domestic and foreign policies using "the most brutal methods."
"Our special military operation in Ukraine is also contributing to the process of freeing the world from the neo-colonial pressure of the West, which is deeply intertwined with racism and a complex of exceptionalism," he said.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that Western sanctions have exacerbated the global food crisis.
