Opposition Wants New War: Arsen Torosyan

MP Arsen Torosyan from the ruling party wrote on his Facebook page: “The demonization or formalization of the peace agenda by the parliamentary opposition is nothing but a call for war and propaganda. The opposition wants a new war—new casualties and defeat—so that on the ruins of that defeat, they can seize power through so-called free elections and continue their long-standing habit of exploiting our country and people.

By the way, they are attempting this for the second time, after opening a second anti-Armenian front within the country following the disastrous war of 2020. Thanks to the prudence of the country’s authorities and people, this did not succeed, and the extraordinary parliamentary elections effectively defeated the anti-Armenian groups that opened a front against their own country.

And now, their second attempt will again confront the reasonable judgment of our people, who cannot prefer a disastrous war over the peace being built. Peace is what will allow us to preserve and develop Armenia and Artsakh. Only in peaceful conditions will Armenia and Artsakh remain Armenian. Those who turn the Artsakh issue into a tool for domestic political gain are intentionally jeopardizing the future of Armenia and Artsakh.
