Nasdaq to Halt Operations with Russian Residents Starting April 29
Starting April 29, access to the NASDAQ stock exchange will be closed for Russian residents. Russian clients have been informed about this via email.
Experts believe that this restriction will apply to all brokers operating in the U.S. and Northern European countries associated with Nasdaq exchanges.
The stock exchange is an organized market where securities trading transactions occur, specializing in shares of high-tech companies. Historically, over-the-counter markets were initially created, but later, the rapid growth of transactions with securities emerged.
