Marseille's Faro Palace Illuminated in Colors of Armenian Flag
The Faro Palace in Marseille has been illuminated in the colors of the Armenian flag to commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide, announced Marseille Mayor Benoît Payan on his Twitter account.
"Tonight in Marseille, the Faro has been lit up in memory of 1.5 million Armenians who were tortured, displaced, imprisoned, and killed due to the genocidal madness of racist leaders. Let us pledge today that we will never again allow the wild beast of nationalism to rear its head," wrote the Mayor of Marseille.
