France Does Not Need Russian Gas, Says Macron
France does not need Russian gas, but Europe is dependent on it. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with France 5 television.
“Europe is dependent on Russian gas... but France does not need it,” he said.
According to him, Paris is working on purchasing gas from other countries.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the French leader had advocated for restrictions on the supply of oil and coal from Russia to the EU.
