We Have One ‘Shot’ Opportunity: Mamijanyan
During parliamentary briefings, Haik Mamijanyan, a deputy from the ‘I Have Honor’ faction, explained the basis on which the opposition confidently asserts that progress on the Artsakh issue is possible in the event of a change in power.
“It’s very simple: through empirical experience, because for decades Armenian diplomacy has succeeded in keeping the real international community, particularly the co-chairing countries, and the Armenian positions on the same page and in the same realm. If we succeeded in this in the past, we will succeed in the future,” the deputy stated.
Mamijanyan also answered the frequently asked question of why the opposition is delaying. “We are not delaying; we simply have one ‘shot’ opportunity. We do not have the luxury of taking unprepared, poorly planned actions. For that reason, we need some time to clearly formulate our actions and present them to the public. It’s a matter of a very short timeframe,” he said.
