"Show us evidence that the Bucha events were not staged": Europe wants proof from Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has given an interview to the German newspaper Bild, in which he stated that a leading European politician requested him to provide evidence that the Bucha events were not staged by Kyiv.
"Show us evidence that this is not staged," the politician's words were quoted by the Ukrainian leader.
When asked whether his interlocutor was the head of government from one of the European countries, Zelensky responded affirmatively but did not mention specific names.
It is noteworthy that yesterday, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, and Josep Borrell, the head of European diplomacy, visited Bucha.
Today, Zelensky also made a post on his Facebook page regarding a consultation he held with the heads of security agencies. "We believe in the strength of our army. We agree with foreign leaders on supplying weapons to Ukraine and strengthening international support; I work every day," wrote Zelensky.
