VIDEO: "I did not consider further discussion on this topic appropriate" - Pashinyan on the events in Parukh

Nikol Pashinyan stated during today’s Cabinet meeting that yesterday's discussions in Brussels with the President of Azerbaijan and the President of the EU addressed the deterioration of the security environment in Nagorno-Karabakh, specifically concerning the events in Parukh. However, these discussions did not lead to a unified assessment of the situation.

"I did not consider further discussion on this topic appropriate in the Brussels platform because the issue is about the intrusion of Azerbaijani units into the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh. This question should be discussed more with the participation of our Russian counterparts, which you are doing and will continue to do," said Pashinyan.
