Why Arayik Harutyunyan Met with Levon Ter-Petrosyan: 'Iravunk'

'Iravunk' newspaper reports: 'Arayik Harutyunyan, representatives of the ruling faction, and members of the 'United Homeland' party have started a new campaign in support of Levon Ter-Petrosyan and his ideas,' said Metakse Hakobyan, a member of the 'Justice' faction in an interview with 'Iravunk'.

To what extent this assertion reflects reality, we sought an answer from the spokesperson of the Artsakh president, Lusine Avanesyan, who remarked: 'I will not comment on that issue. However, if the opposition has questions, they can ask Mr. President those questions and receive clear answers.'

As for why the Artsakh president met with the first president of Armenia, LTP, Ms. Avanesyan noted that the president regularly meets with people of different viewpoints to discuss pressing issues related to Artsakh, and this was merely one of those meetings.'
