Russia Denies Plans to Assassinate Zelensky, Peskov Comments
The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, has denied reports that Russian authorities allegedly intend to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"No, that is not true," Peskov said in an interview with the French LCI television channel, responding to a relevant question. The press secretary spoke in English, and his words were translated into French.
It should be noted that against the backdrop of Russia's special military operation initiated in Ukraine, Western media has repeatedly reported that Russia is preparing an attempt on Zelensky's life.
