Putin Expresses Condolences on the Death of Zhirinovsky
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed condolences over the death of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
It was recently reported that Vladimir Zhirinovsky passed away after a severe and prolonged illness. Zhirinovsky had been hospitalized since January due to a COVID-19 infection caused by the Omicron variant, although news of his hospitalization only emerged in early February. He had previously stated that he was vaccinated against the coronavirus eight times.
On March 8, it was reported that the lawmaker’s condition was serious, with a negative dynamic. There were reports that the political figure was in a medication-induced coma.
On March 11, it was announced that he had come out of the coma and had begun giving instructions, studying news and documents.
