Russia Resumes Air Traffic with 52 Countries
Starting April 9, Russia will lift the restrictions on flights to 52 countries that were imposed due to the pandemic. This was announced today by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to TASS.
The list of countries includes Argentina, India, China, South Africa, and other friendly nations.
“From April 9, we are removing the restrictions that were put in place to combat the coronavirus infection affecting regular and charter flights between Russia and a number of other countries,” Mishustin said, noting that the relevant document was signed today.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the level of COVID-19 infections is declining, so it is time to expand the destinations available to Russian airlines.
