Baku Destroys Armenian Cemeteries, Presenting Remains as 'Azerbaijani': Babayan
Official Baku has once again resorted to its favored strategy of achieving multiple objectives with a single action. This was stated by Davit Babayan, the Foreign Minister of Artsakh, in an interview with NEWS.am, commenting on the rumors circulating in Azerbaijan about the discovery of a cemetery for 'Azerbaijani soldiers' on Mount Karaglukh.
“In recent days, various media outlets have aggressively circulated some fake photos, allegedly depicting the graves of either Azerbaijani soldiers who fell in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War or the supposed victims of the 'Khojaly genocide.' Supposedly, these remains belong to individuals who were killed by 'Armenian bandits' during the first war. This is misinformation and a lie. There have been settlements near the village of Parukh and on the slopes of Mount Karaglukh since ancient times. There are Armenian medieval churches and cemeteries from the 10th to 14th centuries there. Azerbaijani soldiers are destroying Armenian gravestones, and the remains are being presented as 'Azerbaijani' remains,” Babayan emphasized.
