Both Crimea and Donbas Must Remain Ukrainian: Vladimir Zelensky
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has announced that Kyiv plans to continue negotiations with Moscow. However, he emphasized that there will be no territorial concessions. "Both Crimea and Donbas must remain Ukrainian. There can be no compromises on issues of sovereignty and our territorial integrity, and there will be none. These are clear principles and a clear vision of the possible outcome," Zelensky stated.
It is worth recalling that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation for the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that circumstances "demand decisive and immediate actions from us, as the peoples of the Donbas republics have appealed to Russia for help." According to the Russian leader, the entire responsibility for the bloodshed will rest on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian soldiers not to follow the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.
