UN Expresses Concern Over Escalating Tension in Nagorno-Karabakh
The United Nations has welcomed the trilateral format aimed at reducing tensions in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the efforts undertaken by the OSCE Minsk Group, said Stéphane Dujarric, the official spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General.
“We are concerned about reports of rising tensions in and around Nagorno-Karabakh. We welcome the trilateral format aimed at de-escalation, as well as the efforts made by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,” Dujarric's words were quoted by TASS.
He noted that reports of escalating tensions are concerning.
