Indifference and Inaction Will Have Terrible Consequences: Artsakh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Azerbaijani government's hatred and unleashed policies must receive the strongest condemnation from the international community and specialized international organizations. Indifference and inaction will have even more terrifying consequences for all of civilized humanity. This is mentioned in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh.

“On March 24, the Azerbaijani armed forces grossly violating the ceasefire regime and all agreements, crossed the contact line with the Artsakh Republic and invaded the village of Parukh in the Askeran region. The enemy also resorted to provocations in the direction of the civilian settlement of Kharamort in the same region.

Moreover, during the night of March 25, Azerbaijani units opened fire on the Defense Army's units, using various calibers of small arms, as well as strike drones. The abovementioned actions are a logical continuation of the recent terrorist campaign initiated by the Azerbaijani authorities, which manifests itself through psychological pressure on the civilian population, periodic violations of the ceasefire regime, and disruption of the only gas pipeline that supplies Artsakh, leading to a severe humanitarian situation in the republic.

All these actions carried out by Azerbaijan constitute nothing less than a state-directed ethnic cleansing policy aimed at the complete depopulation of Artsakh. Azerbaijan's geopolitical objectives are clear: to terrorize the people of Artsakh, strike at the Russian peacekeeping mission, and make the South Caucasus a platform for pan-Turkism and extremism for the realization of broader plans in the future.
