This Spring, This Government Will Be Forgotten: Saakashvili's Statement in Court
The former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, believes that the ruling "Georgian Dream" party will not remain in power for long. The political figure shared his predictions in a courtroom where his trial is taking place, as reported by apsny.ge.
According to Saakashvili, the time for the ruling party will expire in spring, after which a national consensus government should be formed in Georgia. "Ukraine is winning, and your time is running out. I have no intention of forgetting anything. I'm not threatening anyone, just everyone needs to think about this. I believe that if we are active, this government has a maximum of one and a half months left. This spring, this government will be forgotten. After that, a national consensus government should be formed, which will include some representatives of the 'Georgian Dream.' After that, free elections should be held because it is our duty to meet the moment of Russia's collapse as a stable and prepared nation," said Saakashvili.
