Moscow and Kyiv's Positions Are Approaching Each Other on Important Issues, Says Cavusoglu
The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has stated that the positions of Moscow and Kyiv are gradually converging on important issues, including crisis situations, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“There is a rapprochement of the positions of the two sides on important issues, including critical ones. In particular, we see that they almost coincide on the first four points. Some issues need to be resolved at the leaders' level,” Hurriyet quoted Cavusoglu as saying.
The Turkish Foreign Minister added that Ankara desires to hold a trilateral summit of the leaders of Turkey, Russia, and Ukraine. “We have a desire to hold a trilateral meeting. This depends on the positions of the two leaders. The meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine in Antalya was held in a trilateral format at the request of both sides,” he said.
