Kiev Not Ready to Accelerate Negotiations, Peskov Says
The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that Kiev is not prepared to accelerate negotiations. The information was conveyed by RIA Novosti.
He noted that the format of the document being prepared between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the level of signing, will depend on the text that still needs to be agreed upon.
“I can only note that the Russian delegation is ready to work much faster. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian delegation does not show a willingness to accelerate the pace of negotiations,” he said.
It is worth reminding that early on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision regarding a special military operation against Ukraine, following requests for assistance from the LPR and DPR.
