‘Putin will be held accountable’: US Embassy in Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be held accountable for the attacks on Mariupol. This was stated by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
“Putin will be held responsible for the targeted attacks on the civilian population of Mariupol, especially for those evacuated yesterday, as well as for the deliberate attack on the theater,” the embassy announced.
It is noted that, according to Ukrainian sources, on March 16, Russian troops dropped a powerful bomb on the Mariupol Drama Theater, where more than 1,200 women and children were hiding.
