Belarus Ready to Participate in Negotiations for Conflict Resolution in Ukraine

Belarus is prepared to participate in the negotiation process for conflict resolution in Ukraine, should the need arise. This stance was expressed by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makey in an interview with China's state television.

“What is our role? We are not a negotiating party, although we do not shy away from responsibility and are ready to participate in the negotiation process and contribute to the resolution of the situation if needed and if we are invited,” he stated.
