Georgian Citizens Transferred from Ukraine to Moldova to Return Home via Special Bus Routes
According to a government decision, a special bus route has been organized by the Georgian Embassy in Moldova for the purpose of returning Georgian citizens transferred from Ukrainian territory to the Republic of Moldova back to their homeland. This information was shared by the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The report comes from 1tv.ge.
Currently, the bus route has transported 39 Georgian citizens to Bucharest, Romania, where effective humanitarian aid has been provided by the Georgian Embassy, ensuring accommodation and food. Georgian citizens will return to their homeland in the near future.
“It is noteworthy that due to the Ukrainian war, the Georgian government's decision has led to the evacuation of Georgian citizens from the territory of Ukraine to their homeland, specifically to the Republic of Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Republic of Moldova,” stated the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
