Erdogan Should Be One of Ukraine's Security Guarantors, Zelensky Says
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz should be included among Ukraine's 'security guarantors,' according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
‘I believe that Erdogan will be one of the countries that should provide security guarantees for Ukraine,’ Zelensky said at a press conference when asked what assistance the Turkish leader could offer Kyiv.
Speaking about the role of the German Chancellor, he stated that ‘Germany should be one of Ukraine's security guarantors, and it should not be on the side of Russia, but on the side of justice.’
