Large Fire in Yerevan: Blaze from Nissan Visible from Several Hundred Meters

Today, February 28, a large fire occurred in Yerevan. Around 04:00, the Emergency Situations Ministry's crisis management center received a call reporting a car fire near Building 31 on Aram Khachaturyan Street.

According to shamshyan.com, a firefighting unit from Fire and Rescue Service number 5 arrived at the scene. It was determined that the blaze had originated in a Nissan Tiida belonging to 33-year-old Armenouhi Hovhannisyan. Before the firefighters arrived, bystanders attempted to extinguish the fire themselves, but it spread rapidly, and following the firefighters' efforts, the vehicle was rendered unusable.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries according to preliminary information.
