Member of the National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction, Aregnaz Manukyan, during her speech in the National Assembly today, referred to a previous statement by Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, where he discussed the restrictions on weddings and large gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic. She then reminded that just two days ago, the same Papikyan held a lavish wedding, something he could not even dream of three years ago.

During Aregnaz's speech, the members of the CPP began to disrupt from their seats, making remarks, which did not sit well with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, who already made one remark. However, the CPP members continued to interfere with the deputy's speech.

At this point, Alen Simonyan lost his temper towards the CPP members, stating: "Then I will have you removed from the hall if there is noise from the hall. Silence in the hall—perfect."
