COVID Contributed to the Development of Another Disease: Details on the Death of a One-Month-Old Baby in Yerevan
A one-month-old baby has died in Armenia, who was infected with a coronavirus. ArmDaily.am inquired with Shushan Danielyan, head of the staff at the Mikado Heratsi Medical University, about whether the child had any other health issues. “The child had another illness, but COVID accelerated the rapid development of another disease,” she stated.
It is noteworthy that a biological death of the one-month-old baby was registered this morning in the neonatal resuscitation department of the Muratsan University Hospital. The infant was admitted to the medical facility on October 19 and was connected to the artificial ventilation device on October 26. The child was confirmed to have contracted a coronavirus infection.
