The National Assembly has approved in the first reading a draft law presented by the government, proposing that only December 31, January 1, and January 6 be declared non-working days for the New Year celebrations.
The draft amendment to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Holidays and Commemoration Days was voted on during the National Assembly session, receiving 53 votes in favor, 16 against, and 3 abstentions.
