Azerbaijan to Open an Embassy in Israel
The head of Azerbaijan's Center for Analysis of International Relations, Farid Shafiyev, has stated that the opening of an Azerbaijani embassy in Israel is on the agenda. This was reported by infoteka24.ru.
Shafiyev mentioned that this issue has been discussed for a long time, emphasizing that he personally supports the establishment of an embassy in Israel. “The leadership of Azerbaijan is approaching this process step by step. In general, it is wrong to relate the establishment of an Azerbaijani embassy in Israel to Iran. We have our own priorities. There are stronger elements in this regard than Iran. Our relations with Israel are stronger,” he emphasized.
Shafiyev also pointed out that recently there has been a focus on the diplomatic relations between Israel and Arab countries.
